Vocal Department

Lead Teacher: Mr. Kyle Weary 

The music program at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts provides comprehensive preparation in vocal and instrumental music. Students participate in a variety of performance ensembles, receive weekly private music lessons, and study music theory and literature. Students who qualify may take College Board Advanced Placement examinations in music.

Junior Vocal Department Recitals

November 5 @  3pm, 5pm

November 12 @ 1pm, 3pm, 5pm

Recitals will be in the Ballroom (3rd floor) of Barbara Ingram

ALL VOCAL MAJORS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND AT LEAST 3 recitals - students who attend more than 3 recitals will receive extra credit.


All State Auditions

Junior All State Auditions (9th grade) times to be announced Nov 12

Senior All State Auditions (10-12th grades) times to be announce Nov 17

ALL VOCAL MAJORS ARE REQUIRED TO AUDITION



Pit Orchestra auditions for Beauty and the Beast

Any student who is interested, must sign up for an audition slot on Nov 7th after school.

Mr. Weary has the music for any student who would like to audition.  

Students should prepare all of the excerpts included in the packet for the audition.
